JOB DESCRIPTION SENIOR R&D
Responsibilities
- Lead the research, design, and development of advanced IoT solutions, from concept to deployment.
- Evaluate and integrate emerging IoT technologies, protocols, and tools to enhance system capabilities.
- Architect and implement secure and scalable IoT ecosystems, including edge devices, communication protocols, and cloud infrastructure.
- Prototype and validate hardware and software components, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Establish robust IoT security strategies, including device authentication, encryption, and secure data transmission.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, software developers, and data scientists, to ensure seamless IoT integration.
- Analyze and optimize IoT systems for performance, scalability, and energy efficiency.
- Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance on technical challenges and fostering innovation within the team.
- Document research findings, technical designs, and development workflows, ensuring knowledge transfer and project transparency.
Qualifications
- Technical Expertise
- Proficiency in embedded systems programming with languages like C/C++, Python, or Rust.
- Expertise in IoT hardware platforms (e.g., Raspberry Pi, ESP32, STM32) and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Strong understanding of communication protocols, including MQTT, CoAP, LoRaWAN, Bluetooth LE, and Zigbee.
- Experience with cloud-based IoT platforms such as AWS IoT Core, Azure IoT Hub, or Google Cloud IoT.
- Deep knowledge of edge computing frameworks and data analytics for IoT. o Familiarity with IoT security standards and best practices.
- Leadership Skills
- Ability to lead and mentor teams in designing and implementing IoT solutions.
- Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and risk management.
